Best Time to Visit Oman: Weather, Seasons & Travel Tips
Recorded Video Script
Thinking of traveling to Oman? The season you choose shapes your experience. In northern Oman, from the Muscat coast to Nizwa, winters are mild by the sea, hotter inland, and cooler in the mountains. In the south, Dhofar's kharif season brings cooler air, misty hills and waterfalls, while the rest of the year stays dry and pleasant. Winter is the prime season, comfortable weather with almost no rain. April, May and October are transition months, with fewer crowds but rising temperatures. Summer gets very hot in the north, so the mountains or the southern coast are the best options then. For desert trips and mountain hikes, winter is ideal. For beaches and water sports, winter also works well, with diving and snorkeling open all year. Accommodation and transport cost more during the high season, while November and March often offer great weather at better rates. Summer brings the lowest prices, though you'll need to adjust to the heat. Choose your season based on weather, scenery, and budget. Your OMEN adventure begins when the timing feels right.
